Killer radiator cap of a mans head take a close look!

A large steam-powered bucket-wheel dredger mounted on a work scow sits alongside a rocky canal bank, its inclined conveyor and massive toothed wheel appearing prominently. A tall cylindrical smokestack and belt-driven drums suggest a boiler-and-steam-engine powerplant, likely circa 1900-1920. Handrails, lifebuoys, winch booms and a stern-mounted crane or spoil elevator are visible, indicating an active canal-cleaning operation rather than a pleasure vessel.

Located at 24th Ward at N.38th St Girard Ave, Reading Railroad. Company was founded in 1774 and sold in 1881. Closed when prohibition began in 1896. This image also represents the Horse Drawn Carriages.
